The Professional Countrywoman
Living beautifully and acting effectively - making country life easier for the rural entrepreneur.
Keren Mackay comes from a rural New Zealand farming background and, like many of you, has spent her life juggling family, animals, and work — raising three children (and a parade of ponies, lambs, dogs, and chickens) while running home‑based businesses and contributing to the community.
Her mission is to encourage women to care for their own wellbeing as they raise the next generation and grow their own creative and entrepreneurial gifts into wealth‑building ventures. Now a proud grandmother, she’s turned her attention to guiding the next generation — helping women find balance, nourishment, and calm in their everyday lives.
Through her Professional Countrywoman workshops, Keren teaches practical, life‑giving skills — from growing and preserving food to building habits of self‑care — reminding women that caring for themselves is part of caring for their families.
“As someone who’s swapped gumboots for high heels more times than I can count,” she smiles, “my heart will always be in the country — right alongside the creative, capable women I’m privileged to walk beside.”

Your Wellbeing

Including getting our heads around our sometimes lifelong preoccupation with our weight. I felt so strongly about how much this can hold us back from truly living the lives we want, and ultimately affecting or wellbeing, that I wrote a book and developed some tools to help
